Juventus 2 Real Madrid 1 :(Champions League 1st leg)
Cristiano Ronaldo has been playing exceptionally
these past few games, scoring some goals to help his team out. Although Real Madrid lost to Juventus yesterday, 2-1, Ronaldo as always put his team back into the game after trailing 1-0 in the first half. Competing with Messi for top goal scorer, every goal is crucial not only for himself, but to his teammates in general.
Gareth Bale has been having a bit of a slump this season, not performing the way many of us would of expected him to. Many may say that he is having troubles adjusting to Real Madrid or it could be simply that he is not in good form. Nonetheless, as with any player, we should continue to support him so he can soon perform up to his standards.
With Karima Benzema out due to injury, Javier Hernandez (Chicharito) has replaced Benzema for the time being as there are doubts that he will be put in as starter as Benzema is scheduled to recover by the time of the 2nd leg.
